Delivering the Mailing

After preparing the deliveries for the intended recipient email addresses and testing the mailing, you might want to deliver the mailing to the recipient email addresses.

Clicking the Deliver button on the mailing view page releases the mailing, causing background workers to take over the delivery process. For every prepared delivery entry, a personalized email is formatted and then sent using Amazon SES (Simple Email Service).

Even after a mailing has been released, you can add further deliveries to it. Clicking the Deliver button on the mailing again only processes the newly added deliveries.

If the number of planned deliveries would exceed your personal email sending limit (default is 1000 per day) the Deliver button will be deactivated. You should then reduce the number of deliveries, or send the mailing another day, or contact JustRelate Customer Support to raise your email sending limit.

After its delivery, a mailing can no longer be edited. The delivery statistics are updated as the emails are sent, the recipients open them and interact with their content. Reload the page to view the latest figures.

If you have chosen to include tracked links in your mailing content, the WebCRM recognizes email opens and link clicks. See Analyzing Mailing Statistics for details.
